東西ドイツ統一後の東ドイツ歴史学の変容を論じたものでしょう。序章と終章ほか、15本の論考が寄せられています。
史学史にはやはり関心があります。序章・第1章・第2章は読むとしても、自分の分野的にしっかり読みたいのは、経済史関連の第10章・第11章と植民地主義にかかわる第14章ですね。
そのほかライプツィヒ大学についての事例研究なども気になります。
