The Economic History ReviewとOxford Academicは、新型コロナ感染症に直面する今、感染症の歴史に関連する過去の論文をまとめたウェブサイトを公開しています。そちらに掲載された論文は、まだ無料でダウンロードできるようです。
1．The Economic History Review
まず、The Economic History Reviewから紹介します。過去に同誌に掲載された論文がまとめられています。最初の公開が2020年5月25日です（2020年8月11日現在、最新の更新日は同年7月16日）。以下にリンクを貼っておきます。
”Introduction"、"Plague and Premodern Mortality"、"Reacting to Plague"、"Famine and Mortality"、"The Decline of Mortality"、"Book Reviews"に分けられています。
中近世の論文が中心ですね。一応、わたしがチェックしておきたい論文は、以下かな。

こちらは、"History of Outbreaks Collection"と題して、Oxford University Pressが刊行している学術誌から、医療の歴史に関連する論文がピックアップされています。以下にリンクを貼っておきます。
対象となった雑誌は、The American Historical Review、Diplomatic History、The English Historical Review、Environmental History、Journal of American History、Historical Research、History Workshop Journal、Holocaust and Genocide Studies、Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences、Journal of Social History、Past & Present、Social History of Medicine、Western Historical Quarterlyです。1つの雑誌につき、1～4本の論文が取り上げられています。

補遺
医学史の専門ではないですが、1910・11年に中国東北部から山東に広がった肺ペストについて、ドイツ統治期の青島での対応について、拙著『ドイツ統治下の青島――経済的自由主義と植民地社会秩序』（東京大学出版会、2011年）で取り上げたことがあります。
第一次世界大戦期の「スペイン風邪」の植民地地域への影響が気になっています。
Oxford Academicが特集しているなら、Cambridge University Pressも何かやっているかな、と思って、「スペイン風邪」で検索してみたら、Youtube動画にたどりつきました。11分の動画です。字幕もつきますし、学生に教えようかな。
